What you need:
- 4 ripe avocados
- 1 medium tomato, seeded and coarsely chopped
- '/2 cup (80 g) finely chopped onion
- 1 4-ounce (115 g) can green chili peppers, drained and chopped
- 1 clove garlic, pressed
- 2 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon (35 ml) lime juice
- 2 tablespoons (5 g) fresh cilantro, chopped
- '/2 teaspoon salt
- '/4 teaspoon white pepper (optional)
- Cut avocados in half lengthwise.
- Remove pits and scoop flesh into a blender or food processor.
- Add tomato, onion, peppers, garlic, lime juice, cilantro, salt, and white pepper, if desired.
- Cover and process until well combined, stopping machine occasionally to scrape down the sides.
- Transfer to a bowl and cover tightly.
- Chill several hours before serving.
